Our Farm Helpers are aged between 14 years old up to 40 years old. You will be involved in a wide range of activities such as:
Our Farm Helpers learn new skills and knowledge, increase their mental and physical health, improve their confidence and social interaction and develop greater resilience to change.
All farm helpers are given the opportunity to develop a personal development plan identifying specific goals they would like to achieve. They will then be assigned a volunteer who will provide coaching and support to help them achieve these goals. Farm helpers will receive a Certificate of Achievement for completing their goals.
As a farm helper you will gain a real sense of achievement and start to make a positive change to your life through engagement with the activities on the farm as well as meeting people.
If you want to become one of our Farm Helpers you will need to be in receipt of funding and referred either by a school or education provider, social care organisation or as a private placement.
Rates for day placements start at £65 per person (4:1 support) increasing to £125 (1:1 support). We are not able to provide personal care or medication.
